National ITU Triathlon Champion, Miami International Triathlon winner ,2006 LA Triathlon Winner, and Future Olympian Sarah Haskins is on board with Train 4 Autism. Sarah is training very hard and preparing to compete in the Hy Vee Triathlon Olympic Trials in June she has a great chance to secure a spot on the U.S. Olympic Triathlon Team that will compete in Beijing this summer. Her previous race in Alabama will be aired this Sunday on MSNBC 11-noon. "It is important to teach others the early signs and symptoms of autism. Early diagnosis and effective treatment and intervention programs make all the difference. I greatly support the work that is being done with Train 4 Autism" Sarah Haskins. Welcome to Train 4 Autism!

Our story:

Every 20 minutes a child is diagnosed with autism. Train 4 Autism is a 501c3 nonprofit organization established by families of children affected by autism. Our mission is to empower the millions of individuals that are touched by the disorder through involvement in endurance events such as marathons, cycling, triathlons, etc.. Participants use this program to raise funds for autism research, treatment, and awareness while at the same time promoting wellness, fitness, stress management, and enjoying the health benefits of exercise.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT:
As a core component to our program, participants have the option of directing the bulk of the funds that they raise to Autism Programs that they feel most deserving and passionate about. We strongly believe that not only is this the right thing to do, it will promote chapter growth accross the country or even worldwide when participants can see the fruit of their efforts making an impact on a local level with programs that are closest to their hearts.


LOS ANGELES TRIATHLON BECOMES TRAIN 4 AUTISM"S INAUGURAL EVENT!

We are excited and proud to announce that we have partnered with the Los Angeles Triathlon which will take place September 7, 2008.

Train 4 Autism will sponsor a limited number of athletes who would like to enter the event and raise funds for Train 4 Autism. Athletes who agree to compete and fund raise will receive a free entry, Train 4 Autism training jersey, and pre-race dinner banquet.
